Come explore some of the sights where Paul preached and penned many of his New Testament letters. Our journey begins and ends in Athens, with 6 nights on land and a 3-night cruise through the Greek Isles.

DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrive in Athens, Greece (Sunday) and enjoy a welcome dinner and meet with your Tour Director at your hotel.
Day 2 Head north to Thessaloniki, the center of Paul’s activities in northern Greece — where he preached, founded a church, and to whom he wrote his two Thessalonians epistles.
Day 3 Begin along Paul’s route via Amphipolis in ancient Macedonia. Travel to Philippi, where Paul preached and established the first church in Europe and to whom he wrote his Philippians epistle while imprisoned in Rome. Continue to Kavala, ancient port of Neapolis.
Day 4 Stop in Veria (called Berea in the New Testament)where Paul and Silas were sent by friends after being accused of treason in Thessalonica. Visit the Bema of St. Paul, where he preached the gospel to the local community, then continue to Kalambaka, home to the awe-inspiring Meteora monasteries.
Day 5 See the Meteora monasteries, situated atop soaring cliffs and rock faces. Visit the monasteries of Varlaam and St. Stephen. Return to Athens for an overnight.
Day 6 Embark on your 3-night cruise around the Greek Isles . Head to the mountainous Mykonos with its iconic windmills and whitewashed houses.
Day 7 Visit the Turkish port of Kusadasi for an included excursion to the Ruins of Ephesus. Walk in the footsteps of Paul, who lived and preached here. See the house of Mary, where it is said she spent her last days. Continue to the island of Patmos and visit the Monastery of St. John and the cave of the apocalypse, where John received the visions that he recorded in Revelation during his exile.
Day 8 Port of call today is Heraklion on Crete with an included excursion to Knossos, the center of the 3000 BC Minoan civilization. Afternoon weather permitting, visit Santorini, the “Black Pearl of the Aegean,” with an optional excursion to the cliff-top village of Oia for one of the world’s most glorious panoramic views.
Day 9 Disembark in Athens and travel to Corinth to visit the excavations where Paul worked for 18 months with tent-makers Aquila and Priscilla. Return to Athens for sightseeing that visits the Acropolis with the Parthenon and Areopagus, where Paul delivered his famous sermon about the identity of the “unknown god.” Finish off the tour with a final evening of fellowship and celebration at a farewell dinner at your hotel.

Cost is per person based on double occupancy, which includes an inside cabin on the cruise. Cabin upgrades are available. This price includes all of the above as well as all taxes, port charges, and gratuities. Single options available for a supplement. Pre-tour hotel nights available.
