Flying into Johannesburg, South Africa you will enjoy a nights rest before moving on to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Two magical days experiencing one of the “SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD” and the mighty Zambezi river. Flying to Cape Town, South Africa you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of mountains, oceans and wildlife while tasting amazing food and wine that this region and the nearby Cape winelands has to offer. Finally end this amazing itinerary on safari for 3 days in the Timbavati private game reserve, bordering the well known Kruger National Park.

An itinerary that will include all of the absolute must see sights in Southern Africa. 

Day 1 - Monday, Oct 3

InterContinental Johannesburg

Johannesburg is one of Africa’s biggest and most vibrant cities. It is the economic capital of Africa and the gateway to Southern Africa. Although not as famous as other South African destinations, there is plenty to do in Johannesburg and nearby Pretoria. The old city is a multi-cultural mixture of traditional medicine shops, Chinese restaurants, taxi ranks and ultra-modern skyscrapers. There are excellent museums, art galleries and organised tours of historical and political interest. The shopping is Southern Africa’s best and the many restaurants cater for all tastes. The nearby township of Soweto is Johannesburg’s most popular tourist attraction.


Day 2 - Tuesday, Oct 4

Victoria Falls is one of the world’s most impressive waterfalls. It is set on the magnificent Zambezi River which creates the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Day 6 - Saturday, Oct 8

The Boulders Penguin Colony Visitor Centre is home to a famous colony of Penguins, known for their hilarious braying call. This is a truly special experience, and Table Mountain National Park staff are knowledgeable and offer guided tours. After you have fallen in love with the penguins, head to the secluded Boulders Beach and take a swim in the comparatively warm waters of the False Bay.


Day 8 - Monday, Oct 10

Located in the Mpumalanga Province, the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve shares a fenceless border with the world-renowned Kruger National Park. This magnificent 60 000 hectare reserve is best known for its two very rare white lions discovered here in the 1970s, which gave this destination its name. Meaning 'the place where something sacred came down to earth from the heavens', the park lives up to the hype with its enthralling African savannah, abundant wildlife, and friendly people. Visitors have the opportunity to see 40 mammal species, 360 bird species and the famous Big Five (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo).
